I had the pleasure of being in the closed beta for Ghost Recon Online (GRO) a few months ago, and I was thoroughly excited. On the one hand, I saw the future of the franchise, and some features Ghost Recon Future Soldier would include. On the other, I saw it as a great place for the Ghost recon franchise to expand. The free-to-play model will bring a lot of people to the franchise who might not have been originally interested in Ghost Recon.
If you were involved in the closed beta, you should be able to download the new client and receive a few rewards for your participation, but if you didn’t, it’s ok, you still have time to rack up those XP points and claim a few upgrades and weapons of your very own.
